Incentives Advisors Increases National Presence

Incentives Advisors (IA) is excited about the recent expansion of our California presence. This strategic initiative, together with existing offices in Arizona and Massachusetts, enhances IA's national footprint to better serve clients, manage channel partnerships and expand its market reach to all parts of the U.S. The professionals at these locations have been positioned to service existing clients, penetrate new accounts and build alliances with complementary businesses.

IA Teams with Learning Management Systems and e-Learning Content Providers

Incentives Advisors has established partnerships with companies that facilitate learning initiatives. Since these companies deliver training solutions to the marketplace, their clients invest in workforce development, content and other training initiatives. IA helps these client companies secure reimbursement from the government for the investment they have made in training their workforce. Often times, IA can help a company invest more in training since they know that some of their training expenses will be offset by our services. CAEZ Expansion

The State of California expands its major revitalization incentive program, the California Enterprise Zone, with eight new Enterprise Zones: Siskiyou County, San Joaquin County, East Los Angeles, Salinas Valley, Kings County, Oakland, West Sacramento and Santa Ana. These new zones will replace eight existing zones set to expire over the next several months. The California Enterprise Zone program is one of the most effective state sponsored business incentive programs in the country for creating and sustaining economic growth in targeted business communities. WOTC Renewal

The long awaited renewal for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) was finally signed into law as the Small Business and Work Opportunity Act of 2007 on May 25, 2007. After couple years in limbo, the program is, as expected, effective retroactively to January 1, 2006 through August 31, 2011. Along with this long term extension, several compliance changes were also put into affect to help employers better utilize this tax incentive. The WOTC program encourages businesses to employ individuals who qualify as a member of a targeted group by providing up to $9,000 in tax credits per qualified employee.
